Life is like a book. Some chapters are dramatic and sad; some chapters are exciting and enjoyable. We often struggle with similar issues as human beings; even though our life narratives are different from one or another. You are here and ready to turn the page to the next chapter of your life book. Therapy doesn’t have to be rigid or sterile to achieve a desirable outcome.
Based on your life narrative, I use integrated therapeutic approaches to help you achieve a better understanding of yourself and others around you; so it can potentially enhance your ability to experience a more satisfying personal and/or professional life.

I grew up in Beijing, China. The abundance of classical literature was my “hiding place” during adolescence. For me, this provided early exposure to the western mindset. In 1999, I immigrated to Canada; then, I entered into a racially mixed family. Everything was suddenly so different! I was confused about who I was and where I was going.
Ironically, this is where my life got renewed focus. The journey to a new destination began with three years of psychodynamic training accompanied by two years of first-hand client experience. It was followed by two years working towards my master degree at the University of Toronto (two years of academic, one-year clinical work ) specialized in psychotherapy and spiritual care. Now I am here to help my clients to reach their inner peace and potential.

Being from a cross-culture family and having worked closely with diverse Canadians has equipped me to help clients grow beyond borders and overcome overwhelming cultural and social location obstacles. I believe life is an adventure. We all go through ups and downs in our journey; there are times we need support from professionals. Sometimes, however, it can be hard to ask for help. I am approachable and compassionate. I strive towards creating a safe environment in which my clients can be true to who they are.
